I saw my Shero Janelle Monae last Tuesday…and I still haven’t come down. I had been waiting 4 years to see her live and in action. I was so overcome with emotions. Swear I floated. 

I’m in the process of writing a longer, intensive piece about my experience that will eventually be posted on my photo website…just had to get this out there.

not to mention, Big Boi opened up for her and his new tracks were INSANE. Turned up really quick.
